About Bakgrundskollen.se
Bakgrundskollen.se is a Swedish background-check provider for companies and organisations that publishes legal background information for security work and hiring on its own website. The firm serves businesses, journalists, researchers and faculties, and does not serve private individuals.
Its core service is legal background screening: according to its website, it checks the candidate's personal identity number in Swedish courts and, if the person appears in any judgments, provides the original documents from each court. The firm stresses that it is completely objective, setting no grades and placing no values of its own on the types of judgments found.
The provider presents its checks as fast, digital and designed around GDPR requirements, with integrations for recruitment platforms and its own API, and states as its vision the joint creation of safe workplaces and the prevention of security risks and work-life crime.
