About DIZ Criminología
DIZ Criminología, under the DIZ&INVESTCRIM brand, is a technical-scientific expert unit in criminology and criminalistics based in Palma de Mallorca and serving the whole of Spain. It supports lawyers, institutions and individuals in complex and highly sensitive cases.
Its work in aid of the defence includes criminological and criminalistic expert reports, scientific review of evidence and procedures, counter-reports and technical advice to lawyers. It also carries out reconstruction of events, scene analysis, criminological profiling and the collection and analysis of evidence for trials.
The practice states that it detects judicial errors and prepares its reports with proven scientific methodology, with the defence of procedural guarantees at its core. Its technical direction lies with Luis Santos Diz, a specialist in criminology, applied criminalistics and the investigation of judicial errors.
